Farm Credit of Southern Colorado Scholarship

Farm Credit of Southern Colorado will award five scholarships in the amount of $1,500 and one scholarship for $2,500 to graduating seniors planning to attend a 2 or 4 year college, university, vocational or trade school within the United States. The deadline for this scholarship is February 15, 2019. The Colorado Society of the Mayflower Descendants Scholarship

The Colorado Society of the Mayflower Descendants will be awarding one scholarship in the amount of $1620.00 to a high school senior planning to attend any accredited college, university or vocational institution. Having a Mayflower ancestor is NOT a requirement. The deadline for this scholarship is February 1, 2019. Applications and detailed information can be found on the scholarship board in the main hall.

Alisa's Angels Scholarship

The Alisa’s Angels Foundation awards $5000 postsecondary education scholarships to Colorado Springs area graduating seniors that have demonstrated a passion for helping others. To be considered for a 2019 scholarship, you must complete the following form. The Submission deadline is February 1, 2019. Future Facilities

Over the last 20 years, education standards, delivery methods, and infrastructure required to support effective learning have evolved significantly. With these facts in mind, Calhan School District has begun the process of evaluating our facilities in an effort to answer this fundamental question: Do we have facilities to maximize the educational programs we provide and can we improve them to better serve the needs of Calhan School students and the community we serve now and into the future? Our ability to offer vocational career and technical educational classes, such as Agriculture, Fine and Graphic Arts, Cyber Security, and experience in the Trades are critical issues that need to be addressed as we plan for growth.

Mountain View Electric Vocational Scholarship

Mountain View Electric Association Inc, will award several $1,000 scholarships to graduating seniors planning to enter an occupational training program or two years or less at an accredited vocational/technical school, community college or junior college. The winning recipients will be chosen through a computerized, random selection process. The deadline for this scholarship is January 15. Applications are available at www.mvea.coop or on the scholarship wall in the main hall.
